Teaching gives you skills that go beyond the classroom. Fist, I have to excel in managing and motivating groups of people, I gain their trust and communicate effectively and with enthusiasm the expectations and how to do the work. Second, I have to be resourceful and creative to get funding for the projects and materials I want to develop. And third, I have to work as an effective team leader, with patience, confidence, and conflict resolution skills, in order to succeed.
